Connecting SD Card Slot to Gamecube Memory - 2007/04/01 23:43 Gamecube homebrew often makes use of a "Gecko" adapter, which allows you to put homebrew code on an SD card and then insert this SD card into the Gamecube memory card slot through an adapter.

Theoretically it would be possible to clone this functionality from within the Wii by wiring up the relavent lines from the build in SD card reader to the Gamecube memory card slot.

Re:Connecting SD Card Slot to Gamecube Memory - 2007/04/06 11:15 Nah a gecko is literally a gamecube to sd card converter it just routes the wires which we can do inside the wii.

Re:Connecting SD Card Slot to Gamecube Memory - 2007/04/11 11:28 There are the same one way.

A gamecube memory card can be an SD card but an SD card cannot be a gamecube memory card.

Re:Connecting SD Card Slot to Gamecube Memory - 2007/04/23 12:15 it could be done, just cut out the reader in the top of the gc mem card, and drill hole for the wires, solder them in, and solder the sd slot in, than hot glue it in, and its like it is made into the wii!
